In Math we started looking at probability. We conducted experiments where we designed spinners with a variety of colours with different amounts. We used probability words like “impossible”, “certain”, “likely” and “unlikely” to make predictions about the outcome. We then graphed the results.
In English we are continuing to use the who/wants/but/so/then/finally summary strategy to generate ideas for new stories. Today we worked on transforming both “The Fox and the Crow” and the “Mouse and the Lion”. We are adding additional details and information about the characters and the setting.
